JOB DESCRIPTION: SEN Teaching Assistant
Location:
South East England, Buckinghamshire, Milton Keynes

Salary:
£80 - £90 Per day
Job Duties:
- Supporting students with special educational needs (SEN) in their learning and development
- Assisting classroom teachers in implementing individual education plans for SEN students
- Providing one-to-one support to SEN students as required
- Helping to create a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Assisting with the personal care needs of SEN students, if necessary
Required Qualifications:
- Valid DBS check (Disclosure and Barring Service)
- Experience working with children or young people with SEN
- Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team
Education:
Minimum of GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths
Experience:
Prior experience in a similar role within an educational setting
Knowledge and Skills:
- Understanding of different types of SEN and appropriate support strategies
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of individual students
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
Preferred Qualifications:
- Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification
- Additional training in supporting students with specific SEN requirements
Working Conditions:
- Work primarily within a school setting
- May require some physical activity and assisting with personal care needs
- Collaboration with teachers, parents, and external professionals

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
