SEN Teaching Assistant

Join Our Team as an SEN Teaching Assistant!

Are you passionate about making a real difference in the lives of children with special educational needs? We’re on the lookout for enthusiastic and experienced SEN Teaching Assistants to join our fantastic team in Lowestoft! While experience with a variety of needs is a plus, what really matters is your drive to go above and beyond for every child.

Whether you’re looking for part-time, full-time, or long-term roles (with potential to go permanent!), we’ve got the perfect opportunity for you.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Experience working 1:1 or in classes with children with SEN
  • Bonus points if you’re trained or have experience in safeguarding, Makaton, PECS, or Team Teach
  • A genuine passion for working with SEN children
  • Flexibility, proactivity, and an endless supply of patience
  • A team player who communicates effectively with others
  • Full-time commitment (you’re in it for the long haul!)

What You’ll Need:

  • Enhanced DBS on the update service (or be willing to get one)
  • OCC if you’ve lived abroad for more than 6 months in the last 5 years
  • An up-to-date CV with your full career history
  • Hands-on experience working with children

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
