Location: North London
Salary: £90-£100 a day
Contract: Temporary to full-time
Hours: Monday to Friday (8:30 am – 3:30 pm)

Teaching Personnel is seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant for a secondary SEN school in North London. This full-time role (Monday - Friday, 8:30 am – 3:30 pm) involves working with students aged 11-19 who have a range of individual needs, including SEN, ASD, MLD, SLD, SEMH, PI, and HI, helping them achieve educational excellence.

With small class sizes and a favorable staff-to-student ratio, the school ensures high-quality support for each student. The curriculum is a modified version of the national curriculum with a strong emphasis on vocational skills.

The successful candidate will be confident in managing challenging behavior, ensuring students remain engaged and make progress in their lessons. You will work closely with class teachers and other specialists to provide both small group and one-on-one support.

Requirements:

  • Experience with SEN
  • Experience working with young people
  • Current and clear DBS or willingness to obtain one
  • Strong interpersonal skills

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
