Position: Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teaching Assistant (1:1 Support)

Location: Everton (L3)

Working Hours:

• Weekly Hours: 30 hours, distributed across 5 days.

• Work Schedule: 8:45 am – 3:15 pm.

Pay Rate:

• Hourly Compensation: £12.90 per hour.

Job Description:

Are you an empathetic and skilled Teaching Assistant seeking an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a well-regarded Primary School? We currently have a full-time 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant position available in Everton (L3), where you'll be working alongside a delightful Year 2 student. The school boasts a strong reputation, with commendations from staff, parents, and children alike, particularly for the excellent leadership of the SENCO and Headteacher.

Responsibilities:

Student Support: Provide personalised assistance to students with special educational needs, focusing on their unique learning and developmental requirements.

Collaboration: Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and other professionals to implement tailored learning plans and strategies.

Resource Preparation: Contribute to the preparation of teaching materials and resources that specifically address the needs of SEN students.

Classroom Assistance: Support the teacher in maintaining an organised and inclusive classroom, fostering a positive learning environment for all students.

Behavioural Support: Implement effective behaviour management techniques and interventions to promote positive behaviour and social interactions.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
