SEN Teaching Assistant- The Role

The SENCO in this school is looking for a candidate who has first hand experience in SEN in early childhood. Can you project Empathy and have great verbal communication skills to be able to support the pupils, Parents / carer, and the class Teacher?

You should be able to manage a range of behaviours that the children may express day to day whilst being able to encourage the child’s confidence and self-esteem. 

The considered candidates should:

• Have experience with children with SEN.
• Have a DBS that is uploaded to the update service. (we can support you with this on application)
• Have previous experience working in a primary school.
• Have a passion for SEN and can adapt to behaviours.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
