SEN Teaching Assistant – Exeter

Location: Exeter, Devon
Salary: £84 - £90 per day
Contract Type: Full-time (ASAP Start)

Are you passionate about supporting children with special educational needs (SEN)? Do you want to make a real difference in the lives of students who need your help the most? We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team at a supportive school in Exeter.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide tailored support to students with a range of SEN, including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), ADHD, learning difficulties, and emotional or behavioural needs
  • Assist in implementing individual education plans (IEPs) and supporting the class teacher with daily activities
  • Help manage behaviour, promote engagement, and foster a positive learning environment
  • Work closely with other staff, including SENCOs and outside specialists, to ensure the best possible outcomes for students
  • Provide 1:1 or small group support as required.
