Job description

Teaching Assistant – Primary School (Full-Time, East Grinstead) – Immediate Start

Are you passionate about supporting young learners and making a real difference in their education? Do you have experience working with children with Special Educational Needs (SEN)? If so, we want to hear from you!

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our welcoming primary school in East Grinstead. This is a full-time position, starting as soon as possible.

The Role:

  • Supporting the class teacher in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons

  • Providing one-to-one and small-group support, particularly for children with SEN

  • Assisting with classroom management and learning activities

  • Helping to create a positive and nurturing learning environment

  • Experience working with primary-aged children, particularly those with SEN

  • A caring, patient, and proactive approach

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
