Day-to-Day SEN Teaching Assistant – Chorley

This is a great opportunity to gain experience in SEN education, supporting children with a range of learning needs, including autism and communication difficulties. Whether you're looking for occasional work or regular assignments, we can offer flexible opportunities to suit your availability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting students in the classroom with their learning and development
- Providing 1:1 or small group support where needed
- Encouraging independence and engagement in activities
- Assisting with sensory and communication needs
- Working closely with teaching staff to create a positive learning environment
Requirements:
- Experience working with children or young people (education, care, or youth work preferred)
- A patient, proactive, and compassionate approach
- Understanding of SEN, particularly autism (desirable but not essential)
- Flexibility to work on a short-notice basis

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
