We are looking for dedicated SEN Teaching Assistants to join a friendly school in Chobham/Woking. This is a great opportunity to support students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and help them succeed in a positive and caring environment.
Position: SEN Teaching Assistant
Location: Chobham/Woking, Surrey
Hours: Full-time roles available
Contract: Permanent or Temp-to-Perm
Start Date: ASAP
Role Overview:
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will support students with SEN in the classroom. Your role will involve helping students with their learning, providing emotional support, and working alongside teachers to create a positive classroom environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist students with SEN in accessing the curriculum and completing tasks.
- Support individual or small groups of students with their learning.
- Help manage classroom behaviour and promote a positive learning environment.
- Work with teachers to track student progress and support their development.
Ideal Candidate:
- Previous experience working with children, preferably in an SEN setting.
- Understanding of different SEN needs (e.g., ASD, ADHD, learning disabilities).
- Patient, caring, and able to build good relationships with students.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
