Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant (Full-time/Part-time)

Location: Dorset - Bournemouth, Poole and Christchurch

Salary: £300-£550

Job Type: Full-time or Part-time (Flexible Hours Available)

About the Role:

We are currently looking for a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join our dynamic team. Whether you are seeking a full-time or part-time role, we are happy to accommodate your lifestyle and work around your schedule. In this role, you will be supporting children with a range of SEN needs, helping them to thrive academically and socially in the classroom.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting individual students or small groups with SEN needs.
  • Assisting the class teacher in delivering tailored learning activities.
  • Providing emotional and behavioural support to students.
  • Encouraging students to reach their full potential and build self-confidence.
  • Liaising with staff, parents, and external professionals to ensure the best outcomes for the students.

  • A compassionate, patient, and dedicated individual.
  • Previous experience working with children with SEN is preferred.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • A positive, proactive attitude to problem-solving.
  • An understanding of various SEN needs (training can be provided).
