Job description

Experienced Teaching Assistant – January Full time Position

Location- Dorset, Bournemouth

Hours- 8:30am – 3:30pm

Pay- £350-£500 per week.

Here at Teaching Personnel, we are looking for a passionate, caring, and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant looking to work within the KS1 an KS2 areas. The position will be available from January 2025 and would be till the end of the academic year.

The role includes delivering support and knowledge to small groups of pupils, ensuring they are reaching their full education potential. This will also include working alongside the class teacher helping with planning activities, making sure the day to day running of the lesson is going well and support the teacher where necessary.

For this position, having a good understanding of numeracy, literacy, and communication skills are important for all age ranges. Being able to deal with highly challenging behaviours in a professional manner. Having effective communication skills and organisational skills is key. We also require a DBS check or that you are willing to apply for this.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
