Job description

Position: Experienced SEN Teaching Assistant

Daily Rate: £90-£105.

Contract: Full Time or Part Time

Location: Poole, Dorset

Here at Teaching Personnel, we are looking for a strong teaching assistant to work 1-1 with a Y5 boy who needs support and guidance through his primary years.

The young boy you will be working with has autism and ADHD and is looking for a buddy to help with his education and making his transition as smooth as possible.

What is involved-

ü  Supporting children in developing their knowledge and skills, this can be within class and 1:1.

ü  Providing support to the class teacher in helping prepare activities, lesson plans and working within small groups of children that need that extra support.

ü  Professional, passionate, and enthusiastic is something that need to be maintain within the classroom and within the team.

What is required-

ü  UK resident and must hold a passport.

ü  Experience working with children.

ü  Ensuring children are always safe, happy, and stimulated.

ü  Being able to organise daily tasks for the children and be able to work 1:1 with pupils.

ü  Valid references for over the last 2 years.

ü  Have a valid DBS on the Updated Service.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
