SEN Teaching Assistant

Are you experienced with SEN?

Teaching Personnel have an opportunity to support a provision located in Bolton supporting SEN pupils aged 11-19.

The ideal candidate would have as followed:

-            Experience or knowledge with SEN pupils

-            Knowledge in supporting with specialised classroom equipment, i.e. – standing frame, hoists, and classroom chairs

-            Willingness to support pupils who present with profound, complex or challenging needs

-            Effective communication skills (any experience in signing support and PECS is desirable)

Working hours at this school are 8.30-3.30 but this could vary with possible additional hours to gain training to help assist your role within this school and with your own personal development
