Job description

Position: SEN Teaching Assistant

Location: Bedford

Are you a passionate and adaptable person with experience educating or coaching SEN students?

Teaching Personnel are currently seeking dedicated SEN Teaching Assistants for schools across the Milton Keynes and Bedford areas. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in maintaining the continuity of education throughout these young peoples lives. The position offers an excellent opportunity to work with a variety of students, whilst gaining valuable classroom experience.

This role will require you to support class Senior LSA’s and Teachers with the preparation of resources to meet the personalised learning intentions of allocated students, provide 1:1 support under the supervision of the class Teacher for the delivery of skills-based learning, and work closely with class Teacher to report on progress using an evidence-based approach.

Requirements

  • Adaptability and flexibility to work amongst different skill levels and subjects
  • A Proactive and Resilient attitude to working
  • Prioritisation skills to manage tasks efficiently
  • A child only enhanced DBS (applicable after call with ourselves)
  • Overseas police clearance (if applicable)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
