Location: NG5, Nottingham
Salary: £83.85 - £95 Per Day
Job Type: Full-Time and Part-Time Positions Available
Job Description: Our client based in Nottingham, NG5, is currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Special Education Needs (SEN) Teaching Assistant to join their dynamic team. As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the educational and personal development of students with special educational needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Individualised Support: Provide tailored assistance to students with special educational needs, ensuring equal opportunities for academic and social development.
- Collaboration: Work closely with classroom teachers, SENCO (Special Educational Needs Coordinator), and other professionals to implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and contribute to the overall educational experience of students.
- Inclusive Learning: Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment, promoting the social and emotional well-being of students with SEN.
- Communication: Regularly engage with parents/guardians, providing updates on student progress and collaborating on strategies for continued improvement.
- Resource Management: Effectively use available resources, materials, and technology to enhance the learning experience for students with special educational needs.
Requirements:
• Previous experience working as an SEN Teaching Assistant is desirable.
• A genuine passion for working with students with special educational needs.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude.
• Relevant qualifications (e.g., CACHE Level 3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning, TAQA, or equivalent) are advantageous.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
