SEN Teaching Assistant – Full Time (School Hours) – Burnley

Are you passionate about supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN)? Do you have a creative and compassionate approach to learning? We are looking for a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join our friendly and inclusive mainstream primary school in Burnley.

The Role:

As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:
✅ Support students with additional needs, helping them engage with learning through play-based activities, art therapy, and tailored communication support.
✅ Work closely with teachers and SEN specialists to create an inclusive learning environment.
✅ Assist with daily classroom activities, ensuring that each child receives the encouragement and support they need.
✅ Use creative approaches to help children develop their confidence, communication, and social skills.

About You:

We are looking for someone who:
✔️ Has experience working with children, preferably in an SEN setting (but not essential).
✔️ Is patient, empathetic, and passionate about supporting children with additional needs.
✔️ Can use creative strategies to help children learn in a fun and engaging way.
✔️ Works well as part of a team and can build positive relationships with pupils and staff.
