Location: South London (Croydon, Sutton, and surrounding areas)
Job Type: Full-time/Part-time
Salary: Competitive, based on experience

About the Role:
We are looking for a caring and motivated SEN Teaching Assistant to support students with complex needs specialist schools across Croydon. This role is perfect for someone who is passionate about making a difference and has experience working with children with physical disabilities, learning difficulties, or communication challenges.
Key Responsibilities:

Provide one-on-one or small group support to students with complex needs.

Assist with personal care, mobility, and communication as required.

Work closely with teachers and therapists to implement individual education plans (IEPs).

Create a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students.
Requirements:

Experience working with children with SEN or complex needs is highly desirable.

Strong interpersonal skills and a patient, empathetic approach.

Willingness to support with personal care if needed.

Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
