JOB DESCRIPTION: SEN Teacher

£130.00 - £200.00 Per day

Job Duties:

• Plan, prepare and deliver engaging lessons to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
• Assess individual student needs and create tailored learning programmes
• Implement strategies to support students with SEN in their academic and personal development
• Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and external agencies to ensure holistic support for students
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and communicate effectively with stakeholders

Required Qualifications:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Specialism in SEN or relevant experience

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Education or related field

Experience:

• Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience, preferably working with students with SEN

Knowledge and Skills:

• Understanding of SEN Code of Practise and relevant legislation
• Ability to differentiate instruction to meet diverse learning needs
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organisational and time-management abilities

Preferred Qualifications:

• Postgraduate qualification in Special Educational Needs
• Training in specific interventions for SEN students

Working Conditions:

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
