SEN Teacher – Primary SEN School (Skelmersdale)
Are you an experienced and passionate SEN Teacher looking for a long-term opportunity in a specialist primary setting? A fantastic SEN school in Skelmersdale is seeking a dedicated teacher to support pupils with speech and communication needs.
The Role:
- Full-time, long-term position in a primary SEN school
- Supporting pupils with speech and communication needs
- Delivering a tailored, engaging curriculum that meets individual learning goals
- Working closely with support staff, therapists, and families to provide holistic support
- Applications for a permanent role will open at Easter
The Ideal Candidate:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Experience working with pupils with SEN, particularly speech and communication needs
- ECT’s welcome to apply as long as SEN experienced
- Adaptable, nurturing, and committed to inclusive education
- Strong behaviour management and differentiation skills

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
