SEMH Teacher (Supply) – Sheffield
Are you a skilled teacher with a strong commitment to supporting students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) challenges? We're seeking a dedicated Supply SEMH Teacher to join a vibrant and nurturing educational setting in Sheffield.
Role: SEMH Teacher
Location: Sheffield
Contract: Temporary Supply (short-term/long-term assignments are available)
Salary: Competitive daily rates (130 - 175 dependent on experience)
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide engaging lessons and personalized support for students with SEMH needs.
- Adapt teaching strategies to suit the unique requirements of each student.
- Cultivate a positive, inclusive, and supportive classroom atmosphere.
- Encourage the growth of social, emotional, and academic skills.
- Work closely with support staff and fellow educators to develop tailored learning approaches.
- Ensure clear and consistent communication with parents, guardians, and school staff.
Key Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent qualification.
- Experience working with students with SEMH or other complex needs (preferred but not essential).
- Excellent classroom management skills.
- A patient, compassionate, and adaptable teaching style.
- Capability to establish a safe, positive, and supportive learning environment.
- Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to apply for one).
