SEN Teacher (KS3 & KS4) 
Full-Time Temp Role | Competitive Pay Based on Experience

Are you an experienced and passionate SEN Teacher looking for a rewarding opportunity to make a difference? We are seeking a dedicated SEN Teacher to join a supportive and dynamic Primary/Secondary SEN School in Rawtenstall. This full-time, temp role will cover a long-term sickness absence, running until the end of the academic year.

Role Overview:
As an SEN Teacher, you will provide essential support across the KS3 and KS4 departments, helping students to thrive in their learning environments. You will work closely with the class teams to ensure that students receive tailored support, promoting inclusion and fostering a positive, engaging atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide general support to students across KS3 and KS4
  • Plan and deliver tailored lessons and interventions for individual and small group learning
  • Work closely with other teaching staff, teaching assistants, and SENCO to deliver a cohesive approach to student development
  • Support students’ personal and social development as well as their academic progress
  • Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Qualified Teacher status (QTS)
  • Experience working in an SEN setting, particularly with KS3 and KS4 students
  • A passion for working with children with special educational needs
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • A proactive and adaptable approach

Details:

  • Pay: Dependent on skills and experience
  • Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 3:30 PM
  • Location: Rawtenstall
  • Contract: Temporary, to cover long-term sickness until the end of the academic year

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
