Special Educational Needs Teacher (SEN)

About the Role: As an SEN Teacher, you will work with a diverse group of students, tailoring your teaching strategies to meet their individual needs. You will play a key role in promoting an inclusive environment, ensuring that every child receives the support they need to succeed.
What We’re Looking For:
- ECT or FQT with a commitment to working with children with SEN
- A passion for supporting students’ individual learning journeys
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team
- Flexibility and adaptability to meet the needs of a diverse range of learners
- Experience with specific SEN needs is advantageous but not essential
Location: PR4 Area
Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: Competitive (dependent on experience)
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality, differentiated teaching to SEN students
- Develop and implement individual learning plans (ILPs)
- Support students in achieving their personal and academic goals
- Collaborate with support staff and other professionals to ensure the best outcomes for students
- Create a positive, nurturing, and engaging learning environment
- Maintain regular communication with parents and guardians regarding student progress

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
