Permanent | Full Time
£30,000 - £40,000 (based on experience) + excellent benefits

The PWR team at Teaching Personnel is excited to be working with an alternative education provider in East Manchester to find a passionate Qualified Teacher.

What We’re Looking For:

We’re seeking a qualified and experienced teacher to join a growing school with three classes, bringing your subject expertise and passion for alternative education.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • QTS/QTLS qualification is essential.
  • Experience working with SEMH students and/or SEN, particularly in a secondary school environment.
  • Understanding of alternative provision and the challenges faced by students with special needs.

Skills & Attributes:

  • Ability to engage and inspire learners, bringing creativity to lessons.
  • Strong communication skills to build relationships with students, staff, and stakeholders.
  • Passionate about making a positive impact on students’ lives, supporting their ambitions and emotional well-being.
  • Problem-solving skills and a solutions-focused approach to overcoming challenges.
  • Effective time management for planning, teaching, and assessment.
  • Commitment to promoting equality, diversity, safeguarding, and British values.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
