KS5 SEN Teacher

This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious, enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our team. The school caters for pupils aged 4 - 19 years with profound, severe and complex learning difficulties. No two days are ever the same at but they can promise an exciting, varied and rewarding career working with their dedicated Teachers and Senior Leadership Team to help children and young people with SEND reach their full potential.

You will:
Be an excellent classroom practitioner (mainstream teachers welcome)
Be responsible for planning and delivering profoundly personalized lessons
Provide learning opportunities for the full range of our pupil’s needs
Have excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Work with their Careers advisor to coordinate Careers advice and Guidance
Contribute to our profoundly personalised curriculum
Ensure the Gatsby Benchmarks are upheld
Lead on sourcing dynamic work placements and experiences for young people
Lead on the Supported Internship programme, ensuring that EHCPs are appropriately integrated into a young person’s SI programme.
Have excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Lead the Careers education of Critchill students and teach parts of this programme
Work with Head teachers, careers leads and other senior leaders across the county and trust

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
