KS1/KS2 Teacher
Bromley (BR1)
Longterm contract

Our inclusive partner school in Bromley (BR1) is seeking a KS1/KS2 Teacher with a strong background in Special Educational Needs (SEN).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons for KS1/KS2 students, adhering to the National Curriculum.
  • Develop and implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) for students with SEN, ensuring their specific needs are met.
  • Utilise a variety of teaching methods and resources to accommodate different learning styles and abilities.
  • Monitor and assess students’ progress, providing regular feedback to students, parents, and staff.
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that fosters the academic, social, and emotional development of all students.
  • Collaborate with SENCO, teaching assistants, and other staff to support students with additional needs.
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and attendance.
  • Participate in staff meetings, professional development sessions, and school events as required.
  • Ensure the safeguarding and welfare of all students in your care.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Proven experience teaching in KS1 and/or KS2.
  • Strong knowledge and experience in supporting children with SEN.
  • Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to engage and motivate students.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and external agencies.
  • Commitment to continuous professional development and staying updated with educational best practices.
  • A valid DBS check or willingness to undergo one.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
