KS1/KS2 Teacher
Bromley (BR1)
Longterm contract
Our inclusive partner school in Bromley (BR1) is seeking a KS1/KS2 Teacher with a strong background in Special Educational Needs (SEN).
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons for KS1/KS2 students, adhering to the National Curriculum.
- Develop and implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) for students with SEN, ensuring their specific needs are met.
- Utilise a variety of teaching methods and resources to accommodate different learning styles and abilities.
- Monitor and assess students’ progress, providing regular feedback to students, parents, and staff.
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that fosters the academic, social, and emotional development of all students.
- Collaborate with SENCO, teaching assistants, and other staff to support students with additional needs.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and attendance.
- Participate in staff meetings, professional development sessions, and school events as required.
- Ensure the safeguarding and welfare of all students in your care.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Proven experience teaching in KS1 and/or KS2.
- Strong knowledge and experience in supporting children with SEN.
- Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to engage and motivate students.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and external agencies.
- Commitment to continuous professional development and staying updated with educational best practices.
- A valid DBS check or willingness to undergo one.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
