Job description
Teaching Personnel work alongside a mainstream primary school based in Sutton Coldfield, and have a range of part-time and full-time positions now available. We are currently recruiting for Teaching Assistants who are experienced working with KS1 aged children with ASD and other SEN. This role will include working closely, usually in their SEN hub but sometimes in mainstream classrooms providing support to children with additional needs.
The ideal candidate:
-work effectively as part of a team within the classroom, ensuring the children are looked after and learning from the content delivered
-experience supporting children with autism and/or associated learning difficulties
-work to ensure the safety and safeguarding of children at all times
-understand the social, emotional, and academic needs of those with ASD
-commitment to the building and maintaining positive relationships
-a warm and friendly positive approach in the classroom
-be caring, patient and understanding
This role is due to start ASAP therefore applicants with an Enhanced Child DBS will be prioritised.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
