SEN Teaching Assistant
Location: Solihull, West Midlands
Job Type: Temporary, expected to work Full-Time hours
Primary Industry: Education and Training
Salary: £85 - £100 Per day
Job Duties:
- Provide support and assistance to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in a classroom setting
- Implement individualised learning plans and strategies as directed by the class teacher
- Assist with classroom management and behaviour support for SEN students
- Support students with personal care needs if required
Required Qualifications:
- Experience working with SEN students in an educational setting
- Good understanding of SEN strategies and interventions
- Effective communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
Experience:
Prior experience working with SEN students in an educational setting
Knowledge and Skills:
- Knowledge of SEN strategies and interventions
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and other staff members
Preferred Qualifications:
- Additional training or qualifications in specific areas of SEN support
- Experience working with a range of SEN conditions
Working Conditions:
- Temporary position with full-time hours
- Work within a school environment
- May involve assisting with personal care needs of students

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
