Part-Time EYFS SEN Teaching Assistant Needed in Garstang, ASAP start.
As an EYFS SEN Teaching Assistant, you'll play a vital role in providing tailored support to a child in Year 4 o na 1:1 basis on who require additional assistance due to SEN. Your nurturing approach will help create an inclusive learning environment where every child can thrive and reach their full potential.
Hours: 08:30-15:30 2 days a week.
Pay: £12.90 - £13.50 per hour (depending on experience)
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide one-on-one support to children with SEN, assisting them with their learning and development.
- Collaborate with teachers and SENCOs to implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and accommodations.
- Foster a supportive and nurturing environment that promotes independence and confidence in students with SEN.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working with children with SEN, particularly in an educational setting.
- Understanding of the EYFS curriculum and the ability to adapt activities to meet the diverse needs of students.
- Relevant qualifications or certifications in SEN support or childcare are desirable but not essential.
- Level 2 or Level 3 TA qualified is desirable.
