Teaching Assistant Role: Supporting SEN Learners in Great Yarmouth
Do you have experience working with students who have Special Educational Needs (SEN) across primary and secondary education? Are you passionate about helping children with Additional Learning Needs? Our specialist SEN branch in Norwich is looking for an experienced Teaching Assistant to support students aged 6-16 at an established setting in Great Yarmouth. All pupils have an Educational Health and Care Plan (EHCP) with a primary focus on Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH), and come from diverse backgrounds, each with unique challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work closely with pupils who have Autism and exhibit challenging behaviours.
- Provide customized interventions tailored to individual needs.
- Modify lesson plans to accommodate a wide range of learning abilities.
- Encourage positive behaviours and support personal development.
- Follow EHCP guidelines to ensure effective student support.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
