SEN Support Assistant – Mixed Primary & Secondary SEN School


 Location: Ribbleton, Preston (PR2).
 Job Type: Full-time / Part-time opportunities available.
 Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience.

Teaching Personnel are working closesly with a welcoming and inclusive SEN school in Ribbleton, Preston (PR2). The school caters to both primary and secondary-aged students with a range of additional needs. We are looking for a caring and proactive SEN Support Assistants to join our agency for opportunities to work at this school! 

Your role will include:

✅ Supporting students with a variety of SEN needs, including ASD, ADHD, and speech & language difficulties.
✅ Assisting teachers in creating a positive and engaging learning environment.
✅ Providing 1:1 or small group support tailored to individual learning needs.
✅ Helping students develop confidence, independence, and social skills.
✅ Working closely with teachers, parents, and external professionals to ensure the best outcomes for students.

What we are looking for:

✔ A patient, compassionate, and adaptable approach to learning support.
✔ Strong communication and teamwork skills.
✔ A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
✔ Relevant qualifications (e.g., Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant, Childcare, or similar) – desirable but not required.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
