Are you a passionate and dedicated Primary SEN Teacher looking to make a real difference in the lives of children with special educational needs? Teaching Personnel is seeking an enthusiastic teacher to join a welcoming and supportive SEN school in York.
About the Role:
As a Primary SEN Teacher, you will:
✅ Plan and deliver engaging lessons tailored to meet the diverse needs of SEN pupils
✅ Support children with a range of needs, including autism, ADHD, speech and language difficulties, and MLD
✅ Create a safe, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment
✅ Work closely with teaching assistants, SENCOs, and external specialists to support pupils’ development
✅ Monitor progress and adapt teaching strategies to meet individual learning goals
What We’re Looking For:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification
Experience working with children with special educational needs (SEN)
A compassionate and patient approach to teaching
Strong communication and classroom management skills
A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
