SEN Learning Support Assistants Needed in Surrey
Full-Time, Part-Time, and Ad-Hoc Availability for Day-to-Day, Long-Term Supply or Permanent Positions

We are looking for compassionate, dedicated, and enthusiastic SEN Learning Support Assistants to join our team in Surrey. Whether you're seeking full-time, part-time, or ad-hoc roles, we have flexible opportunities available across day-to-day, long-term supply, or permanent positions to suit your availability and preferences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide 1:1 and small group support for students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in a variety of classroom settings.
  • Assist in the development and delivery of individualised learning plans tailored to each student’s needs.
  • Support students with SEN in their academic, social, and emotional development.
  • Help create a positive, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment that encourages student participation.
  • Work collaboratively with teachers, SENCo, and other professionals to ensure the best possible support for students.
  • Monitor and report on student progress and well-being.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working with children or young people with Special Educational Needs (desirable but not essential).
  • Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude towards supporting students with diverse needs.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • A commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
  • Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
