Job description

 

A rewarding part-time opportunity has become available for a Teaching Assistant to join a caring and inclusive specialist school in Wareham. This provision supports students aged 11 to 18 who face a range of social, emotional, and mental health needs. Key Details of the Role

This is a part-time position, working from 10am to 3pm, with varied finish times depending on the day of the week. Your presence will play a vital role in maintaining consistency and support for students navigating the school day.

  • Provide one-to-one and small-group support

  • Assist with learning activities inside and outside the classroom

  • Help students build confidence, emotional regulation, and independence

  • Support behaviour management and reinforce positive routines

  • Collaborate with teachers, SENCOs, and pastoral staff

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
