Job Advertisement: Teaching Assistant – SEMH Schools in Lincoln
Are you passionate about supporting students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs? We are looking for a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join schools in the Lincoln area, providing crucial support to students in SEMH settings.
Key Responsibilities:

Assist in delivering tailored support for students with SEMH needs.

Provide one-to-one and group support, helping students manage their emotions and behaviour in a classroom setting.

Work closely with teachers to implement individual education plans (IEPs) and ensure a positive learning environment.

Promote student engagement, inclusion, and personal development.
-
Help maintain classroom routines and contribute to a safe, supportive atmosphere for all students.
Requirements:
-
Previous experience working within SEMH settings (essential).

Understanding of strategies for supporting students with emotional and behavioural challenges.
-
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
-
Patience, empathy, and a positive approach to behaviour management.

Location: Lincoln
-
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:30 – 15:30 (term-time only)

Pay: Starting at £90 per day, with potential for progression.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
