SEMH Teaching Assistant

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated SEMH Teaching Assistant to join our supportive team in Chobham. This full-time role will involve working with students with social, emotional, and mental health needs, helping them engage with their learning and build essential life skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide tailored support for students with SEMH needs
• Assist with managing classroom behavior and promoting positive learning
• Support students in overcoming emotional and social challenges
• Work closely with teachers to implement individual learning plans

Requirements:

• Experience working with students with SEMH or similar needs
• A patient, empathetic, and proactive approach
• Strong communication skills
• A valid DBS check (or willingness to apply for one)
• Full driving license and access to a vehicle preferable due to location
