Job description

Exciting Opportunity for a Qualified Teacher in an SEMH School in Milton Keynes!

Are you a dedicated and passionate teacher seeking a rewarding and impactful role? One of our respected SEMH (Social, Emotional, and Mental Health) partner schools in Milton Keynes is looking for a Fully Qualified Teacher to join their supportive and caring team.

This role offers the opportunity to work with children with SEMH needs, focusing on key subjects like English and Maths, while making a real difference to their lives and learning journeys.

Your Role:

  • Engage and inspire students by assessing and monitoring their progress
  • Deliver tailored lessons that support individual learning needs
  • Follow behaviour support plans, helping students to manage and avoid triggers
  • Establish routines and expectations to create a positive and productive classroom environment
  • Collaborate with support staff to provide the best learning experience

We are looking for someone who has:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a passion for teaching
  • Experience (or a strong desire to develop expertise) in supporting children with SEMH and SEN needs
  • A caring, patient, and empathetic approach to working with children
  • Excellent communication skills, able to collaborate with colleagues and support staff
  • The ability to differentiate lessons to meet the needs of all students
  • Full-time availability and a commitment to making a positive impact in the school community

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
