SEMH Teacher
Job description
One of our partnership SEMH schools in Manchester, are looking for a Fully Qualified Teacher to join their team!
In this role, you will be engaging in sessions with children with SEMH needs, focusing on core subjects such as English and Maths.
In this role you will:
- Assess and monitor children’s learning and development
- Follow behavior support plans to avoid triggers
- Implement routines and expectations in and around the classroom
- Liaise and deploy support staff in an effective manner
The ideal candidate will have:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience supporting children with SEN/SEMH or a keen interest to pursue this
- A kind, caring and patient manner when working with children
- The ability to communicate effectively with other members of staff
- The ability to differentiate lessons to suit the needs of all children
- Full time availability

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
