An education provision in Stockport is looking for Teachers to start full-time positions. They work with students aged 11-16 that are currently not in education due to a variety of different SEN and SEMH needs, and need extra support with qualifications that they are currently working towards. You would be joining a highly skilled team that work as a unit to provide a comprehensive learning experience for each student and work to help them progress in a positive way.

Role and responsibilities:

-          Teach a variety of subjects to a high level and individualise lessons to suit learners within each class

-          Work alongside support staff and mentors to create plans of progression for students

-          Plan and deliver fun and engaging lessons

-          Provide feedback to students, other members of staff and parents

Qualifications and experience needed:

-          Previous experience working with secondary aged students with additional needs

-          Teaching qualification

-          Experience teaching a variety of topics

-          Able to deal with possibly challenging behaviour

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
