Job description

Role: SEMH Teacher

Location: Bath & Bristol Areas

Contract: Full Time, Permanent

Start: ASAP

Salary: £25,410- £38,520

The school are willing to consider educators with all kinds of subject specialism. The main criteria is having experience working with pupils with Social Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. The school are also willing to consider educators who don’t have Qualified Teacher Status, but have a recognised UK teaching qualification.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement effective lessons that meet the needs of the students you are working with
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment for each student
  • Work alongside other staff to create comprehensive support plans for students
  • Track student development and feed this back to parents, carers and other staff

For this role you should

  • Have QTS or extensive teaching experience
  • Have experience teaching and supporting students with a range of different additional needs
  • Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Be confident in planning and developing lessons to suit the individual needs of students
  • Be available full time

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
