Support Assistant – SEMH Schools in Scunthorpe
Location: Scunthorpe, Lincolnshire
Pay: £85 - £100 per day (dependent on experience)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:30 - 15:30 (Term time only)

We are looking for a compassionate and resilient Support Assistant to join our team, working in SEMH schools in Scunthorpe. Key Responsibilities:

• Provide tailored 1:1 and group support for students with SEMH needs.
• Help students to manage challenging behaviours in a positive and constructive manner.
• Collaborate with teachers and staff to create an inclusive learning environment.
• Support the personal and academic development of students, fostering their confidence and resilience.

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience in working with SEMH needs or challenging behaviour is highly desirable.
• A calm, patient, and empathetic approach to working with young people.
• Flexibility and adaptability to meet the needs of a dynamic school environment.
• Full-time availability (Monday to Friday, 08:30 - 15:30).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
