SEN Teacher
Location: Scunthorpe
Pay: Starting at £140 per day (with potential to rise)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:30 - 15:30 (Term time only)
Are you a passionate educator ready to make a meaningful impact on the lives of students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) challenges? We are seeking a dedicated SEN Teacher to join our team, supporting SEN and SEMH schools within Scunthorpe.
About the Role:
- Plan and deliver tailored lessons to meet the diverse needs of students with SEN/SEMH.
- Create a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment.
- Work closely with support staff and parents to develop personalized education plans.
- Foster emotional resilience and social skills through engaging and supportive teaching strategies.
- Monitor and assess student progress, adapting teaching methods as necessary.
What We’re Looking For:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
- Experience teaching in SEN/SEMH environments or a strong interest in working within this field.
- Patience, adaptability, and a genuine passion for supporting students with additional needs.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with support staff, families, and school teams.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
