SEMH Sports Coach – Full-Time – Blackburn
Immediate Start – Temp to Perm Opportunity

We are looking for a dynamic and dedicated SEMH Sports Coach to join a great school in Blackburn, offering a full-time, immediate start with the potential for a permanent contract for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage outdoor sports sessions for students with SEMH needs
• Develop activities that promote physical fitness, teamwork, and mental well-being
• Create a safe, supportive, and structured environment for all students
• Work closely with teachers and support staff to monitor student progress
• Encourage positive behaviour and help students develop social skills through sport

Ideal Candidate:

• Experience working with students who have SEMH needs
• Strong background in sports coaching, ideally with outdoor or adventure activities
• Enthusiastic, patient, and a positive role model
• Ability to engage and motivate students with varied abilities
• Excellent communication and team-working skills

Position Details:

• Full-time- 8:30-3:30
• Immediate start
• Temp to perm potential
• Location: Blackburn, BB2

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
