Job Title: Secondary Tutor

Salary:

£25 - £30 Per hour

Job Duties:

• Provide academic support to secondary school students in specific subjects
• Develop tailored lesson plans to meet individual student needs
• Assess student progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly
• Help students prepare for exams and improve study skills
• Communicate with parents/guardians regarding student progress

Required Qualifications:

• Qualified teacher status (QTS) or equivalent
• Experience teaching secondary school students
• Strong subject knowledge in the relevant areas
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Education or related field

Experience:

Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience at the secondary level

Knowledge and Skills:

• Demonstrated ability to engage and motivate students
• Understanding of different learning styles and how to accommodate them
• Proficiency in using educational technology
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Preferred Qualifications:

• Postgraduate qualification in Education
• Experience in providing one-on-one tuition
• Knowledge of exam board requirements

Working Conditions:

• Part-Time hours, flexible schedule
• Work primarily in a school setting
• May require travel to student homes for tutoring sessions

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
