We work with Local Authorities, to provide tuition for children who aren’t accessing mainstream education. This could be because they are Looked After Children (LAC), have SEN needs, SEMH needs or challenging behaviour. Our tuition roles involve working with these children on a 1:1 basis to form a rapport with them, help bridge gaps in their understanding, boost their confidence in learning and help reintegrate them with mainstream education.

I am currently looking for tutors available in Northamptonshire and surrounding areas, who are experienced and confident in Key Stage 3 and 4 (UK Secondary curriculum).

Our tuition roles include –

  • Planning and delivering engaging 1:1 lessons for students in core subjects (English, Maths and Science) or life skills.
  • Tailor sessions towards individuals learning levels and interests.
  • Create a positive learning environment to encourage student growth and development.
  • Monitor student progress and provide feedback using our bespoke learning portal.

Requirements -

  • Teaching qualifications and/ or teaching experience
  • A valid Enhanced DBS certificate (on the update service) or willingness to obtain one.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Why join Teaching Personnel -

  • Competitive salary rates of £25-£30 per hour
  • Weekly pay through PAYE.
  • We are not a part of an umbrella company, so no hidden fees!
  • A flexible working schedule designed to fit around you.
  • A team of consultants on hand to assist you in finding the perfect roles.
  • Opportunity to obtain and grow new knowledge and skills.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role. Please see the FAQ’s on the Teaching Personnel website for details.
All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
Teaching Personnel is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. We undertake safeguarding checks on all workers in accordance with DfE statutory guidance ‘Keeping Children Safe in Education’ this may also include an online search as part of our due diligence on shortlisted applicants.
