Experienced Supply Teachers – Secondary Schools (Chelmsford)

Position: Supply Teacher (Secondary)
Location: Chelmsford and surrounding areas
Contract Type: Supply / Temporary / Flexible
Salary: Competitive, based on experience

About the Role:
We are seeking experienced and adaptable secondary school teachers to work on a supply basis in a variety of schools across the Chelmsford area. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain experience in different schools, while enjoying the flexibility of supply work. Whether you are looking for short-term placements or longer-term cover, we have opportunities to suit your preferences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging lessons across a range of subjects and year groups, ensuring continuity of learning for students
- Follow the schools' curriculum and lesson plans, adapting where necessary to meet the needs of the class
- Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment
- Manage classroom behaviour effectively and promote positive behaviour
- Support students in achieving their academic goals during your time in the classroom
- Work flexibly across various secondary schools in the Southend area
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Experience teaching in UK secondary schools
- Strong classroom management skills
- Flexibility and adaptability to work in different school environments
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- A proactive and positive attitude towards supply teaching

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
