Teaching Personnel is seeking a Secondary English Teacher for a unique secondary SEMH provision in South Bristol. This fulfilling role supports KS4 & KS5 students, where the KS4 classes thrive on a primary teaching model, offering a nurturing environment tailored to their academic and emotional growth.
This opportunity goes beyond traditional teaching; it’s about generating meaningful relationships and empowering students through both academic instruction and practical life skills. With a curriculum that blends the national framework with hands-on learning—like cooking classes and mechanical workshops in an on-site garage—this role is as dynamic as it is rewarding.
This role is available for part time or full-time. It is to begin after the Easter and to finish at the end of the academic year, with the potential of a contract for the right person.
Position Details
Title: Full-time or part-time Teacher
Location: South Bristol
Start Date: 22nd of April
Salary: Competitive, based on experience and references. Paid to M-Scale
Key Requirements
Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Clearance: Current DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to complete one
Experience: Prior teaching experience preferred, though newly qualified teachers eager to inspire are encouraged to apply

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
