Science Teacher – Secondary School Walthamstow East London

We are working with a fantastic inclusive mixed secondary school in Walthamstow East London. Who are seeking a new dynamic, passionate science teacher to start January 2025. So, if you love your subject and want to inspire young people to fulfil their potential, we are the place for you.

This a great opportunity to join a very successful science department. You will need to have passion for learning and teaching. The students are very passionate about science and make great progress at all key stages. And achieve outstanding GCSE results.

As a successful Science Teacher working for Teaching Personnel, you will need the following skills and attributes:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or be a Newly Qualified Teacher (NQT)/Early Career Teacher (ECT) with a relevant science qualification.
  • Be capable of delivering Key Stage 3 & 4-Experience of teaching Key Stage 5 is beneficial but not essential
  • The experience to plan, prepare and teach the constantly evolving curriculum
  • Excellent classroom management
  • Strong communication skills
  • Great time management skills, someone who is reliable and flexible
  • Ideally worked with children in the last 5 years
  • Right to work in the UK.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
