Full-Time, Permanent Opportunity

Start Date: Immediate or September 2025

Our client, a specialist school based in Towcester, is seeking a committed and enthusiastic Science Teacher to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis. This is a unique opportunity to teach in a setting that values individual progress, creative teaching approaches, and strong relationships with students.

About the Role:
You will be responsible for delivering engaging and inclusive science lessons to students with a range of additional needs. The school caters to learners with social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) needs, autism spectrum conditions, and other learning differences. You will play a key role in helping students develop their curiosity, confidence, and understanding of the world around them through hands-on and practical learning experiences.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • A background in science education or a related subject area

  • Experience working with children or young people with additional needs (desirable but not essential)

  • A nurturing, patient, and adaptable approach to teaching

  • The ability to inspire and engage learners through creative and differentiated lessons

  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Please Note: QTS is not required for this role. Applications from unqualified teachers, instructors, or experienced support staff with a science background are welcome.
