Are you a passionate and committed Science Teacher looking for a permanent position starting in the next academic year? Teaching Personnel is proud to be working in partnership with a well-regarded secondary school in Wimborne, and we are currently seeking a full-time Science Teacher to join the school on a permanent basis from September 2025.
About the Role:
This is a fantastic opportunity to take on a long-term position in a school that values academic excellence, personal development, and a strong community ethos. As a Science Teacher, you will:

Deliver high-quality Science lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (with KS5 a possibility depending on experience and subject specialism).

Encourage a passion for Science, promoting independent thought and scientific curiosity.

Plan and differentiate lessons to meet the needs of a diverse and ambitious student cohort.

Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment, aligned with the school’s strong values.

Monitor and assess pupil progress, providing timely, constructive feedback.

Engage in whole-school initiatives and contribute to departmental planning and development.

What We're Looking For:

A qualified teacher with QTS (or equivalent).

Specialism in Biology, Chemistry, or Physics, with the ability to teach up to GCSE.

A passion for teaching and making Science accessible, relevant, and engaging.
-
Strong classroom management and effective communication skills.

An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
