Location: Torquay, Devon
Start Date: Easter 2024
Duration: Until the end of the academic year (with potential for a permanent or fixed-term contract)
Pay: Paid to scale (MPS/UPS)
Are you a passionate and dedicated Science Teacher looking for an exciting opportunity in Torquay? Teaching Personnel is currently recruiting for a full-time Science Teacher to join a thriving secondary school from Easter until the end of the academic year.
The Role:
- Deliver engaging Science lessons across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 desirable but not essential).
- Full planning and preparation responsibilities.
- Work collaboratively with department staff to enhance student learning.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
What We’re Looking For:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Specialism in Biology, Chemistry, or Physics.
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
- A commitment to student progress and development.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
